In today’s chaotic world, it’s easy to wonder, “Why can’t I hear God?” But the problem isn’t His silence—it’s our noise. The culture, the chaos, the constant distractions—they drown out His whisper. At our church, we believe you were created to hear God clearly, and that clarity comes not from the storm around you, but from the stillness within you. That’s why we urge you to trust the whisper, not the weather.
You’re Not Deaf—You’re Distracted
Many struggle to hear God’s voice not because He isn’t speaking, but because life is too loud. Emotional chaos, soul ties, and constant stimulation are clogging the spiritual channel. If your life is overrun by confusion, emotional exhaustion, and patterns that leave you drained, it’s time to turn down the volume and lean into the whisper of God.
Disconnect to Reconnect
When you’re entangled in toxic relationships, hidden sin, or emotional soul ties, your spirit gets clouded. You can’t clearly sense God’s leading when your soul is tied to dysfunction. We’ve seen lives transform the moment people let go of what was never meant for them. When you break free from what binds your soul, your spirit can breathe—and finally hear.
You Were Built to Sense the Storm Before It Hits
Just like an eagle feels the storm in its bones, your spirit was wired to pick up God’s voice before disaster strikes. That “gut feeling” you’ve ignored? That unease about the wrong crowd, wrong decision, wrong timing? That’s not anxiety—that’s instinct. We believe your instincts, shaped by God’s Word and Spirit, are tools designed to lead you—not just your logic or emotion.
The Spirit Leads. The Flesh Reacts.
Romans 8 teaches that the Spirit brings life and peace, but the flesh—your emotions, impulses, and desires—brings confusion. Our church teaches the full biblical model of your being: spirit, soul, and body. Your spirit was meant to lead your life. But when the soul takes over, you chase temporary comfort over lasting direction. The whisper of God comes through your spirit—not your stress.
God Speaks Loudest Through Obedience
If you’ve been asking, “Why isn’t God talking to me?” the real question might be: Have you obeyed what He’s already said? God speaks at the volume of your obedience. When you ignore promptings, conviction fades. But every “yes” you give sharpens your hearing. The more you trust the whisper, the less power the weather has over you.
You’re Not Crazy. You’re Called.
If you feel like you don’t fit in, if you’ve been told you’re “too deep,” “too intense,” or “too much”—we want you to know: you’re not crazy. You’re just called. You weren’t built to blend in with culture. You were created to follow a whisper others can’t hear. That’s why the noise feels so foreign. You weren’t meant for crowds—you were meant for clarity.
Storms Don’t Silence You—They Shape You
Following God doesn’t exempt you from storms—it positions you for transformation in the midst of them. Jesus Himself was led into the wilderness by the Spirit. That same Spirit leads us through trials not to punish, but to produce power. If you’ll trust the whisper in the middle of your storm, you’ll walk out stronger, wiser, and anointed.
Let Go of the Loud and Lean Into the Whisper
God’s voice isn’t dramatic thunder or public applause. It’s often a still, small whisper—heard only by those willing to quiet everything else. Our encouragement as your church is this: make space for that voice. Shut out distractions. Dismiss what doesn’t serve your spirit. Tune your ears to the frequency of obedience. That’s where destiny lives.
