WHAT IS BAPTISM?

Baptism is a powerful symbol of what Jesus did for us through His death, burial, and resurrection. Being lowered into the water represents our old life dying—our past mistakes, sins, and shame buried just like Jesus was. It’s a declaration that our old self is gone and that we’ve been completely forgiven.

Coming up out of the water represents new life. Just as Jesus rose from the grave, we rise as new creations—changed, redeemed, and alive in Him. Baptism is how we tell the world that Jesus has brought us from death to life, and we’ll never be the same.
