Welcome! We are so excited that you have taken this step towards becoming an active part of Stonepoint Community Church. This webpage will serve as your guide to SCC ministry opportunities.

A common misconception of ministry is that it will take up all your time or that you will need only specific talents to be useful. That is simply not true. As you move through this page, you will see that how much time you spend in ministry is entirely up to you. We have both weekly commitments and special events. With each commitment, the amount of time you choose to give is entirely up to you. The best part is that all you need to help in SCC is a heart for serving God. No matter what your passion is, we have a place where you can serve. Some of the SCC Crew spend their time rocking babies, while others help to show new families around or assist kids with checking in. We will spend time with you to make sure that you are placed somewhere you can use all the talents and gifts that God has given you.

Remember, you are not alone in going through the process of finding your ministry or growing in it. SCC staff are here to support you and provide you with training and leadership along the way! We are looking forward to getting to know you and serving with you!

AVAILABLE SERVING OPPORTUNITIES
Media
Responsible for overall media creation for Stonepoint. This involves digitally communicating the vision to both the congregation and the world. This team collects, edits, masters, and dispenses content with high-level results at Genesis speed across multiple platforms.
Events
Provide opportunities for individuals and families to deepen their walk with Christ. Events are hosted both during services and on separate days, giving everyone an opportunity to get involved. Participation brings honor and provides fellowship.
Greeters
First impressions mean everything. Welcoming our guests and members is our first line of excellence. We are knowledgeable and able to provide guidance, setting expectations for the experience.
KidPoint
Provide age appropriate, God honoring development through teaching. We believe that we are depositing into our children “[…]the way they should go.” - Proverbs 22:6
Congregational Care
Provide all congregation members an outlet to raise their intimate needs and requests. Support individuals and families in every season, as well as celebrate positive life changes.
Outreach
Focusing on both 'Go and Tell' outreach and 'Come and See' invitation initiatives, we consistently create ways to meet the needs of the community on a large scale. Everyone is welcome to participate in various planned events designed for us to "BE The Church".
Hospitality
Provides a spiritual center for both food and fellowship. Complementing our standard of excellence, we serve others abundantly with generosity.
Overall Sanitization
Fervently uphold Stonepoint's Cleaning Covenant: "Coming to church is safer than going to the grocery store!" Sanitization and cleanliness are top priorities.
Assimilation
Establish, maintain, and restore connections between our guests and SCC. Prepare and send key communications that encourage engagement in a loving manner.
Audio/Visual (AV)
Responsible for sound quality and all displayed media. Working in unity with both Praise and Worship and Pulpit Supply. Delivering a smooth and seamless service to our guests is paramount.
Ushers
"Create an environment to receive the people." Our focus is on our guests, providing for their needs before, during, and after service. We ensure each person can receive the Word in the comfort of both hospitality and excellence.
