Do You, Boo: You Are a Designer Original

Silhouette of Shamgar riding a donkey at sunset, holding an ox goad, symbolizing God’s power through unlikely people in Judges 3:31.

If you keep waiting for the perfect moment, Satan will keep you waiting until it's too late. That's his goal: to delay your promise, postpone your progress, and talk you into believing tomorrow is your time—only to make sure it never comes.

But God says your time is now.

Let me remind you of Judges 3:31—a single verse tucked into Scripture about a man named Shamgar. No grand intro. No long list of accomplishments. Just one sentence: "He slew 600 Philistines with an ox goad and delivered Israel." That’s it. One verse. One moment. One person God used mightily.

You may not have a title, platform, or spotlight. But God sees you. And He doesn’t need perfect—He needs willing.

1. Stop Waiting for Perfect

The perfect moment? It doesn't exist. If you keep observing the wind, you’ll never sow. If you keep watching the clouds, you’ll never reap (Ecclesiastes 11:4).

You have to stop waiting and start doing.

That dream in your heart? Start.

That business idea? Start.

That ministry calling? Start.

Don't despise small beginnings. Shamgar started with an ox goad. You start with what’s in your hand.

2. You Are a Designer Original

God didn’t make a mistake when He made you. He didn't make you to fit someone else’s mold.

You were fearfully and wonderfully made. You are peculiar. Purposefully different. Intentionally distinct.

You’re not weird. You’re called.

You’re not off. You’re anointed.

You’re not late. You’re right on time.

People may not get you. They’re not supposed to. You were made for such a time as this.

3. Use What You Got

Moses told God, "They won’t believe me." God responded, "What’s in your hand?" (Exodus 4:2)

Stop telling God what you lack. He already knew what you had when He called you.

Your talent may look small. Your skill may feel insignificant. But God can multiply what you surrender.

What’s in your house?

What’s in your hands?

What’s in your heart?

Use it. Start where you are.

4. Don’t Let Culture Define You

Comparison is the thief of contentment. If you’re always measuring yourself against others, you’ll miss the lane God made just for you.

Your value isn’t determined by likes, follows, degrees, or titles. It’s defined by who made you and why He made you.

Quit comparing.

Quit waiting.

Do you, boo.

5. You Are Anointed

1 John 2:20 says you have an unction from the Holy One. That means you are anointed. Period.

Not just the preacher. Not just the influencer. Not just the person with the mic.

You.

You have spiritual instincts. Discernment. Insight. God wired it into your spirit. Start trusting it.

Final Thought: Don’t Wait for the Wall to Fall

Rahab tied the scarlet thread in her window before the battle began.

Shamgar struck before the enemy got close.

David ran toward Goliath, not away.

Stop waiting for a miracle. Move like you already carry one.

God doesn’t need more perfect people. He needs more people who will stop hiding, stop shrinking, and start using what they have.

You are enough because the One who made you is more than enough.

So take the step.

Swing the sword.

Tie the scarlet thread.

Do you, boo.
